In September, 2012 our new art project was installed in the Dutch city of Nijmegen. We were invited by our investor to cooperate as artists in a renovation project of a local industrial landmark of a former Phillips factory.
I was amazed and inspired by the motif of masks while travelling across Mexico, where the tradition and symbolism of masks are deep-rooted in the folklore. The symbolism of masks is present at every culture in the world making it a universally comprehensible as well as attractive piece of art.
The Kai Park at the Vinex-location Vathorst in Amersfoort was officially opened by mayor van Vliet-Kuiper on the 28th of May.

The design of the fountain was based on the investor’s requirement to create a site to relax for the residents of a housing estate in the locality called Panská zahrada, which is surrounded by a park more in a rural style.
The church from the 1930´s is situated at the edge of the forest at the top of the village. The surrounding area was in an uncared-for estate. In cooperation with an architect we designed and realised the landscaping.
We have designed a park in an area of difficult accessibility, a wet meadow, with a full-grown trees in the village centre. The park maintains the natural character of the area and in this way is not typical playground.
Nonspecific animal sculpture is attractive dominating feature of the new playground. Big ceramic object have been made and completed in our manufacture and then transported and placed by crane in the park.
I designed two new playgrounds on the place of two condemned ´s ones from 80th´s. The playgrounds are meant one for children aged about from 3 to 6 and the other for a bit older.
The historical area of Gayer´s military quarters in the city center is step by step getting a new use. There is a music school, high school, small shops, office buildings and a parking lot.

We have participated in the seventh annual sculpture exhibition “Art in the City” in České Budějovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou (from June 12 to September 26, 2014) with our biggest toy sculpture (so far) of a fish, which is both a sculpture and a playful city fountain.
The sculpture of a big cat was created on the basis of a private commission for the park in Petrovice Castle www.zamecek-petrovice.cz. near Karvina, the northeast of Czech Republic
Walkable fountain is located near the front of frequently visited pavilion the Bay of Rays, where people can feed freely and touch the stingrays.
