Koníček Playground in Stromovka, 2024, Prague

We completed the Koníček playground with artistic elements in 2005 and it has been in use since then until this year.

At the end of April, the reconstruction of the playground began, the renewal of park paths, staircases and furniture around the playground was renewed, and the playground was opened at the beginning of the new school year. Our pieces were left unchanged. We were invited to assess the state of their damage and propose the scope and method of their revitalization. Other play elements that had survived in the meantime were replaced with new ones, which, with their designed layout and colors, follow on from our original elements.

The authors of the project are Eng. Martin Kovář and Eng. Zdena Rudolfová from the design and landscape office FLORART.

The investor and client of the project and implementation is the Department of Environmental Protection of the City of Prague, Department of Greenery Care.
