Stele, 2021, Budča near Zvolen

A stela, according to the educational dictionary, is a vertical slab or pillar primarily used as a monument. Mine, however, is far from being a monument. It came to life during the challenging "COVID time". Rather, it's a giant sprout of joy for a new life, always lurking in hiding when everything around seems hopeless, it burst forth seemingly out of nowhere in full strength. It brought joy to me as well, through its installation beautifully connected with the Dancing House, and the way it attracted its new owners from Slovakia as if on its own.
